We start our adventure at Playa de los Pocillos, one of the island's biggest and most peaceful beaches. With its golden sand and calm waves, this beach is the perfect place to begin. As we walk, you’ll get to enjoy amazing ocean views and the relaxed vibe that makes this beach a favorite spot for both locals and visitors.
Next, we continue along the beach promenade, a smooth path that’s great for walking or cycling. Whether you’re strolling or riding a bike, this palm-lined promenade offers beautiful views of the sea, with plenty of cool cafes and shops to check out along the way. As we move further, you’ll be treated to awesome views of the Atlantic Ocean and even some distant islands on the horizon.
Our next stop is Playa de Matagorda, another lovely beach known for being quiet and spacious. Here, the soft sand and gentle waves make it a perfect place to relax. The walk along Playa de Matagorda is refreshing, with the sea breeze and the sound of the waves following us the whole way.
As we get closer to Lanzarote Airport, things get even more exciting. This is where you can see the runway approach lights stretching out into the sea, guiding planes as they come in to land. It’s a really cool spot to watch planes up close as they descend over the ocean and land at the airport (ACE). The promenade here is also a great place for plane spotting, with planes flying low overhead in a spectacular display. It’s a must-see for anyone who loves planes or just wants to see something different!
